JYP-Pelicans 6-2 (series 1-1)

JYP back on track in SM-liiga finals.

JYP was totally new team in the second SM-liiga finals compared to the first game a day earlier. Allthough goals 6-2 are a bit too high JYP didn't give to Pelicans a chance. JYP had found again its fast and active game system and Pelicans couldn't answer. Furthermore Pelicans took several stupid penalties, including twice delay of the game shooting puck out of the rink, and JYP scored two power play goals.

JYP's best part was their first line Jani Tuppurainen - Eric Perrin - Harri Pesonen who totally earned 3 goals and 5 assist. This was good news to JYP also for the coming games because this Perrin's line has been pretty quiet during the past 2-3 games.

Next meeting will be in Lahti on Thursday.
