With the final 6-3 victory against Denmark, the Ron Chyzowski's guys closed home tournament with perfect record. Top scorer Dominik Lascheit (Eisbären Juniors Berlin) and teammate Dominik Grafenthin (Red Bull Salzburg/AUT) scored in each game. Switzerland finishes second thanks to a global good performance by Langnau tigers defender Yannick Rathgeb, two goals and two assists. Denmark captured bronze despite the roster was missing 3 key 1995 born players, who played another tournament with the U18 team: Frolunda (SWE) duo Mads Eller and Matthias Asperup and Oliver Bjorkstrand (Herning).
