Genève wasted another chance to draw level with EHC Biel while Davos won in the top game against the ZSC Lions.

Servette-Genève HC - HC Lugano 2:3

Genève had the chance to get even closer to EHC Biel which has the last playoff spot but failed to do so in the home game against HC Lugano. Despite an early lead by Rubin (10.) that stood for a long time, the hosts had to see how Lugano turned the game around within three minutes at the end of the middle period - Murray (36.) and Romy (39.) had scored for the guests. The break after 40 minutes didn't help Genève a lot as they even had to take the 1-3 by Murray (45.). Two minutes later Salmelainen cut the lead to just one goal but it was enough for Luganos away win.

HC Davos - ZSC Lions 4:1

In the match between two Swiss hockey powers of the last two decades it was home side HC Davos which found better into the game. Stoop (12.) and Untersander (18.)  had scored for the hosts in the first period. When Cunti cut the lead to one (24.) hope came back to the guest bench but it was destroyed just five minutes later when Marha was succesful for Davos. The Czech did also the 4-1 win for the favourites when his empty-net try found the back of the net just a second before the horn.
