In a tightly contested pre-season match between Brynäs IF and Örebro HK at Arena Jernvallen, Örebro HK emerged victorious with a 3-2 win after a shootout.
Örebro HK took an early lead in the first period, scoring twice with goals from Christopher Mastomäki and Emil Larsson. The second period saw no goals, with both teams' defenses and goaltenders holding firm. However, Brynäs IF fought back in the third period, tying the game 2-2 with goals from Johan Larsson and Oskar Lindblom.
After a scoreless overtime, the game was decided in a shootout where Örebro HK's Patrik Karlkvist scored the game-winning shot.
