Game recap

Manchester Storm got back to winning ways on home with with a 6-3 victory over Dundee Stars on Friday night in Altrincham in front of just under 2,000 fans.

Just 33 seconds had been played when Joe Morrow one-timed Grant Hebert's pass beyond Richard Sabol to give Storm the lead. Ben O'Connor levelled at 5:59 with a shot in the slot that popped the water bottle, A nice tic-tac-toe play saw Jake Durfling fire past Sabol to put Storm back ahead with 3:27 left in the opening period.

From there, Storm never looked back. Alexis D'Aoust found the back of the net with Storm's second powerplay goal of the night 2:11 into the second, while Hebert neatly took D'Aoust's pass and beat Sabol shorthanded at 38:48 to give the hosts the full set.

Ryan Hughes took Hebert's drop pass and set up Durflinger for a back-door tap-in 4:05 into the final period to make it 5-1, and while Keanu Yamamoto and Brett Gravelle both puled goalies back for the Stars, Craig Martin hit the empty net with 21 seconds to go to round off the win.
