Cardiff Devils regained third position in the Viaplay Elite League with a road victory in Manchester over the Storm.
The home side made an excellent start with Scott Simmonds tipping Zac Herrmann's shot past Ben Bows with 2:54 played. Cole Sanford replied at 11:41 with the finish off a good pass from Joey Martin, before the latter put the Devils ahead at 17:33 from the edge of the circle into Jeremy Brodeur's top corner.
Martin poked home the rebound off Marcus Crawford's shot at 27:06 to give the Devils a 3-1 lead, before Crawford found the net in the slot at 30:59 to put the Devils into a comfortable lead.
Bowns stopped all 13 shots the Storm threw at him in the final period to prevent them from getting back in the game, and helped his side to an important two points.
