Game recap

Dundee Stars gave their fans an excellent Christmas with two wins over Scottish rivals Fife Flyers.

Following their home win on Boxing Day the Stars headed to Kirkcaldy looking to bring themselves closer to the playoff race.

After a goalless opening period the deadlock was finally broken by Kevin Dufour who found enough space in the slot to deke and shoot past Adam Morrison with 29:34 played. Matt Carter made it two just under five minutes later, and the Stars made their lives that little bit more comfortable when Brett Stovin forced the puck over the line from close range 2:21 into the final period.

Mike Cazzola got the Flyers on the board with just under eight minutes to go but it wasn't enough in the end, and Drydn Dow sealed Dundee's win with an empty-netter 1:40 before the final buzzer.
