Game recap

Nottingham ensured they ended with a three-point weekend on their return to Elite League action thanks to a late win in Manchester.

Brett Perlini gave the visitors a late towards the end of the opening period, and after a slip from a Storm defenseman Sam Herr was able to double that lead after just 12 second period seconds. Perlini struck against at 23:02 to make it three, but Mathieu Gagnon was on hand to get the Storm on the board 14 seconds later.

Mario Puskarich then got them back to within a goal, but Julian Talbot 33 seconds into the final period put the Panthers back two ahead. Adam Hughesman tied the game at 44:42, but Talbot was to score the winner with 4:09 left
