Game recap

Friday night hockey in Belfast saw the Giants take both points at home to Guildford Flames.

The Giants won the game with two quick goals in the opening period - Curtis Hamilton finished off the first with 9:09 played, before some bad Flames turnovers eventually led to Ben Lake shooting past Travis Fullerton for 2-0 50 seconds later.

Guildford finally got on the board on a late 5-on-3 powerplay with 4:40 to play - Jesse Craige firing in a slapshot form the point to make it a 2-1 game. That was however where the scoring stopped, some late chances for both teams didn't produce any more goals.
