Game recap

Sheffield Steelers extended their winning run to four games with a three-goal win at home to Guildford in the league.

The Steelers had to do it the hard way however, as Ian Watters gave the Flames the lead from the slot only 3:25 into the game. Joh nArmstrong levelled at 14:41, with almost 20 minutes passing until the next goal. When it came, it put the Steelers into a lead that they wouldn't lose - Brendan Connolly finishing off neatly in the slot from a Rob Dowd feed at 33:35.

Marc-Olivier Vallerand made the points a little more safe with eight minutes to go, before adding number four at 56:55 - both on the powerplay.
