The Panthers ended their Scottish road trip with new Head Coach Rick Strachan’s first win of his tenure.
The first period looked to be ending without score until Mark Hurtubise found the net with five seconds to play. Fife were level 2:22 through Paul Crowder, but as the game in Fife though were not to be denied at least a share of the spoils and tied the game with the goalie pulled and on the powerplay at 58:51 as Tim Billingsley sat for tripping.eared its end Dylan Olsen put the Panthers ahead with 5:57 left to play.
With no goals in overtime the game went to a shootout; while no Flyers managed a goal in the opening four rounds, Justin Kovacs and Luke Pither found the net for the Panthers to give them the win.
