Tim Wallace pulled one back for the visitors 65 seconds into the middle period, but by 5:54 the Clan were back two ahead thanks to Matt Haywood. The Brit added another with 34:32 gone, before Georgs Golovkovs pulled it back to 4-2 at 36:03, however Rasmus Bjerrum had the hosts up by three before the break.
