All three goals were scored by Slovak players when Spartak Moskva beat Dinamo Riga 3-0. In the other KHL game of the day Dynamo Moskva beat SKA St. Petersburg.

Three of the four Slovaks on Spartak's lineup scored today. Only Marcel Hossa left the ice scoreless today. Stefan Ruzicka made it 1-0 in the first period. Ivan Baranka and Jozef Stümpel scored in the second. Ivan Kasutin in the net made 38 saves. Most disappointing for the home team was of course another poor attendance number. Only 1600 fans in the arena.

The top game between Dynamo Moskva and SKA St. Petersburg also didn't attract many fans. 2500 spectators attended the game. Artem Chernov opened the scoring at 13:54. Alexei Kudashov made it 2-0 at 25:36. Three minutes later Tony Mårtensson scored a power play goal for SKA but the game saw no more goals and Dynamo won 2-1.
