Continental Cup begins
The Superfinal of the Continenental Cup begins this Thursday in Cardiff, U.K.
This seasons final will go ahead with just three teams competing as HC Arlan (Kazakhstan) had to withdraw at the last minute due to timing and travel issues.
So the make up of the group is as follows:
Bruleurs de Loups (France), GKS Katowice (Poland), and host Cardiff Devils (Great Britain).
Last season Cardiff Devil (UK) hosted the tournament only to be beaten into third place with Noad Astana becoming champions.
The revised schedule is
- Thursday 16th January 19:30 - GKS KATOWICE v CARDIFF DEVILS
- Saturday 18th January 18:00 - BRULEURS DE LOUPS v GKS KATOWICE
- Sunday 19th January 18:00 - CARDIFF DEVILS v BRULEURS DE LOUPS
