Ben Bowns of cardiff stopped all 18 shots he faced as the Devils beat HDD Acroni Jesenice from Slovenia to book their place in the IIHF Continental Cup Final Round in January with a 3-0 win.
Cardiff Devils booked a place in the Finals with a win over Slovenians Acroni. COLE SANFORD slotted home with 8:50 left in the final period to make it 3-0 and round off a comfortable win for the Devils. The victory ensures the Devils won Group E with a game to spare, which means they will play in the Continental Cup Final in January.
In the earlier game goals from ZACH TORQUATO anf Frenchman ROBIN GABORIT ensured three points for angers taking them to second in the table.
