EIHL adopt wait and see plan
EIHL chairman Tony Smith spoke to a local radio station with regard to the EIHL situation.
EIHL chairman and Sheffield Steelers owner spoke on local radio about various things to do with a re-start for the EIHL season.
He spoke on various topics one of which was that the absence of crowds would mean no start but that they were now considering a 60% crowd ratio.
He also said the biggest concern was not the start but if they had to stop shortly afterwards, this was because start up costs are so huge so they had got to get it right from the off.
They are hoping for a start date of December but that is fluid, thus the season would need to be extended into June 2021.
