Ässät Pori fired CEO

Ässät Pori fired CEO

16 May 2018 | Jari Hämäläinen

HC Ässät Pori announced CEO Eeva Perttula has been fired after less than 18 months of service.

According to chairman Janne Ojanen there is absolutely no dramatic behind the decision. But former CEO Eeva Perttula told herself that at the end the decision was not a major surprise. The economic result from past season will show several hundred thousand € negative figures and there has been a growing lack of trust from the board side - which she refuses to open more closely.

Acting CEO will be Mikael Lehtinen, current Executive Director of Ässät r.y. (which runs the Jr. B and younger teams and is a majority owner of HC Ässät Pori Oy). The recruitment of a new CEO will start later in the summer.
