Also China will have a new coach for upcoming World Championship
KHL club Kunlun Red Star assistant coach, Finnish Jyrki Aho will be China's new head coach in division II A championship tournament in Netherlands in late April.
China's federation would have preferred Kunlun's head coach Jussi Tapola for the job, but he is still under contract to Team Finland coaching team. Likely he will join Team China for next season.
Aho, 43 years, has previously coached JYP to Finnish Champions in 2012, was coaching Espoo Blues in its last season before bankcrupty, and was coaching Ässät untill January 2018 before release from his post. Assat had fallen from 4th position to 10th and was in jeopardy to fell out of playoffs compeletely.
