Quiet day for Netherlands and Italy

Oranges allowed the two first historical goals for Spain but scored eight, Italy suffered just in the first period against Korea.

 
 
 
 
A day without surprises in Budapest World Championship Division I: while the host have its rest round, Spain managed to score its first goals in Division I against Netherlands, but the opponents, with vetaran Phil Groeneveld between the pipes, replied the scoring eight times. When Carlos Quevedo at 44:20 deleted the "zero" in the Spanish "goals for" box, Netherlands had already added six in the "goals against" one. Another goal by Juan Josè Palacin and a post hit by Guillermo Betran completed a positive performance giving optimism for the decisive game against Korea.

At night Italy continues its campaign waiting for a "final" against Hungary, hammering Korea with six goals. Azzurri suffered just in the first period when Sang Wook Kim hits the post but quickly takes the control of the game scoring six times and recording a second shut-out for the back up goalie Thomas Tragust, starting also in the 2-0 victory against Spain.
