Rikard Grönborg, 47, is head coach for Sweden National Team and will make his debut in World Cup. -"It is with great proud and humility I will take this assignment," Grönborg said.

 
 
 
 

From the start of World Cup, Rikard Grönborg, Johan Garpenlöv and Peter Popovic are the three who will lead Team Sweden. But there are also some other great names who will be a part of the Swedish team. Daniel Alfredsson, Mats Sundin and Nicklas Lidström will serve as advisers to the main staff.

Rikard Grönborg have been assisting coach to head coach Pär Mårts during four seasons and he's been the head coach for Team Sweden J20 and J18 during six years. Per Mårts will step down after 2016 World Championship i Moscow and Grönborg will take his spot.

-"It is with great proud and humility I will take this assignment. But it's not going to that kind of a difference in how Team Sweden will play compared to earlier," Rikard Grönborg said to aftonbladet.se.
