The veteran Vyacheslav Kozlov scored the game-winning 3-2 goal at 34:32. Alexander Svitov added 4-2 in the mepty net with 2 seconds remaining and Salavat takes a 3-1 lead of the series.

PAtrick Thoresen, the only Norwegian KHL player, scored 1-0 for Salavat at 10:12 but Tomas Rolinek tied it a few minutes later. A half minute later Salavat got the lead again when Miroslav Blatak scored. They kept the lead for abou 17 minutes but eventually Stanislav Chistov scored an equalizer. Kozlov's 3-2 goal came three minutes later.

The next game of the series is played on Friday in Ufa.
