Sports Analytics Europe takes place on June 29 & 30 at Old Trafford in Manchester. For the hockey segment, we’ll fly in Rob Vollman from Calgary. Best known for Player Usage Charts and his record-breaking ESPN Insider contributions, founding Hockey Prospectus writer Rob Vollman was first published in the Fall 2001 issue of the Hockey Research Journal, and has since co-authored the five annual Hockey Prospectus guides, the 2014-15 McKeen's magazine, and authored two of his own Rob Vollman's Hockey Abstract books – which are available atSports Analytics Europe.

We already have a good delegation of head coaches and performance analysts from the UK attending and I would like to make it as easy as possible to attend this unique conference for ice hockey professionals from other European countries by offering an all-inclusive package (flights + hotels + conference pass) at the price of a regular Conference Pass.

Over two days’ time, 30 international speakers will show how new technology changes the face of sports from a performance point of view. In addition to reviewing the most insightful parts of the 2015 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics conference by showcasing the latest developments from North America, there’s a special emphasis on how universities and sports organizations can work together to maximize results across a whole variety of sports (full program can be found here).
