Skellefteå going for gold again

Skellefteå has a solid 2-0 lead in the Swedish finals after a 6-2 win away to Färjestad tonight.
Skellefteå AIK seems on track of defending the Swedish Championship. After 3-0 at home in the first final they followed it up with a 6-2 win on away ice. Even if they still need two more wins it feels like nothing can stop Skellefteå now.
Färjestad did their best to do it today but even if they made a decent game it ended with a big loss. Skellefteå started best and a late goal in the first by Bud Holloway gave Skellefteå the lead.
In the second Färjestad came out stronger and Christian Berglund tied the game and after Färjestad had some good chances for a leading goal but instead France's representative in the final Pierre-Edouard Bellemare gave Skellefteå the lead with a shot that didn't look unstoppable.
But if Fredrik Pettersson-Wentzel's effort on the 1-2 goal was questionable it was nothing compared with the 1-3 goal. Even if it was a good shot by Jimmie Ericsson it shouldn't be possible to score from the neutral zone. That was the goal that decided the game and Skellefteå cruised to a 5-1 lead before Anders Bastiansen reduced the lead with a shorthanded breakaway goal and the game ended with an empty net goal for Skellefteå.
