Erkka Westerlund has selected the 25 players that will play for the Finnish lions in Sochi.
Teemu Selänne will be the second player ever to play in six Olympic tournaments, tying the record of another Finn, Raimo Helminen. The Finnish roster contains nine players playing outside NHL compared with only one on the Swedish roster. Saku Koivo who has been captain for Finland at three Olympic tournaments was not selected to play this year. His brother Mikko Koivu was selected but might miss the tournament due to an broken ankle.
