For almost 40 minutes, Bern was clearly the best (and the most experienced) time on the ice. Two early goals by Justin Krueger and Ryan Gardner seemed to give a comfortable advantage to the defending champions. But a new team in town means euphoria and if the opponent doesn't play at his best, he's gonna the price. And that's precisely what's happen Saturday night. Finish player Juha-Pekka Hytönen was the best player on the ice making a goal and assist.

Bienne 3 Rapperswil 4 SO

Ugly game Saturday night at Ice Stadium between two teams that started the season in bad way. Home team have done a very bad game, loosing pucks at transition zone and shooting from very far, in the end a point is almost a miracle. Rapperswill deserved the two points(and even more. From Biel only Marc Wieser and young Goalie Lukas Meili play at an acceptable level. Robbie Earl lead Rapperswil team.

Ambri 2 Fribourg 3 SO

On the paper Fribourg is the best team on the league, but the first four games, Gotteron seem to prove us wrong. Another typical game were the best team get's two goals ahead and thinks the game is done. If the opponent believes himself everything is possible. And that's what's happened at Ambri Stadium. Fribourg was ahead 2-0, goals scored by Helbling and Swiss star Julien Sprunger but Ambri never gived up and tied the game fairly for a well deserved point. Schaefer(27 saves) and Conz(33 saves) were the best players on the ice.

Geneva 3 Kloten 5

Special match at Geneve, between home team and Kloten. First game for former NHL players Mathiew Lombardi and Kaspars Daugavins and also game between father(Felix Hollenstein, Kloten coach) and son(Denis Hollenstein, Geneva star). In family feud, dad was cleary the winner because Geneva team didn't show up in the second period, allowing Kloten take a comfortable lead. Even if home home team showed something in first and third period, in professional sports they aren't allow to have a blank like that or they will pay for it. Mention to the 188 minutes of penalties thanks to a general fight at minute 58, including booth goalies(Stephan and Gerber).
