In Elitserien Timrå needs all points they can get. Tonight they fought bravely against Färjestad in Karlstad but allowed the deciding goal just 34 seconds before the end. Frölunda easily defeated Brynäs while Rögle needed a shoot-out to beat Linköping.

Färjestads BK  -  Timrå IK 4 - 3

Timrå was down 2-0 and 3-2 but managed to tie the game twice in the desperate struggle to win points that can save them from Kvalserien. With 34 seconds remaining Färjestad's Marcus Paulsson scored his second goal of the game and Färjestad won all three points. Paulsson had also opened the scoring at 01:25. Nine minutes later Jack Connolly made it 2-0. Anton Wedin scored 2-1 at 19:25 and four minutes into the second period Timrå's returning forward Matt Murley scored the equalizer in his first game. Chris Lee took Färjestad back to the lead at 47 minutes but a minute later Andreas Molinder tied it again. Paulsson scored the game-winner close to Joakim Lundström's post.  A shot he maybe should have saved.

Rögle BK  -  Linköpings HC 3 - 2

Juhamatti Aaltonen decided the shoot-out and got assists on both Rögle's regular time goals. Richard Lintner scored 1-0 for Rögle in the second minute. Carl Söderberg tied it in the middle of the first period. At 35:39 Linköping took the lead with a goal by Sebastian Karlsson. Mathias Tjärnqvist tied it four minutes inte the third period. All four goals were scored on power play.

Brynäs IF  -  Frölunda HC 2 - 5

Last year's champion Brynäs continues to allow many goal. Tonight they lost 5-2 at home to Frölunda. Anton Axelsson scored twice for the visitors. Mikael johansson, Jari Tolsa and Sebastian Collberg got a goal each. Johan Harju and Sebastian Lauritzen scored for the home team.
