Jack Skille and Deryk Engelland made their debut in Getligaen when Rosenborg lost 0-3 against Lørenskog at home ground.

In Trondheim Rosenborgs new signed NHL-stars made their debut. The stars took Norwegian hockey to a whole new level, making the game faster and more skillful. The arena was filled up and nearly 3000 had come to watch the game. Unfortunately for Rosenborg they didn’t manage to score against Lørenskog who won 3-0 at the end.

Vålerenga played Storhamar on home ground. The big clash between the two teams is usually a close game, but not on Thursday. Vålerenga had everything under control. With the Donati-brothers (Justin and Tyler) scoring one goal and making a total of three points each, Vålerenga won 7-1.

In Sparta Amfi it was once again time for a goal show from Henrik Malmström. With three goals and two assist (total of five points) he helped Sparta to a 7-3-win over Lillehammer. In the other games the newcomers from Tønsberg lost 2-5 to a strong Frisk Asker team, while the masters from last year, Stavanger, won 5-1 against Stjernen.
