Main Russian Junior League will start new season with some news

Igor Romashin, MHL Director of Competitions, spoke about the main innovations that are waiting for the teams in upcoming season.

"At the general meeting of the clubs, it was decided that next season the MHL won't have divisions. The teams will be divided into Western and Eastern Conferences, as happened in the first season, and the regular season will be held in four rounds. The playoffs will consist of two parts: eighth and quarter finals will be held inside the conference, while the semi-finals will be played crossing.East and West Conference teams.

"After a consultation with the Russian Ice Hockey Federation, we have decided that four players born in 1991 will be allowed on each team's roster."
