Yevgeni Malkin was as expected named Most Valuable Player of the 2012 World Championship. He was also the tournament's top scorer, best forward and named to media's All-Star Team.

 
 
 
 
Yevgeni Malkin scored 11 goals and 8 assists throughout the 2012 World Championship in Stockholm and Helsinki. As expected he was also dominant when the individual awards were handed out.
