The groups for the World Championship 2013 have been announced

IIHF announced today the groups for the 2013 World Championship, that just like 2012 will be co-hosted by Sweden and Finland.

Czech Republic and Canada will play in Sweden while Russia and Slovakia will play in the Helsinki group of the 2013 World Championship.

There are two newcomers at the highest WC level; Slovenia that will play in Stockholm and Austria that will play in Helsinki.

The dates of the championship are May 3-19 2013. The semi finals and medal games will be played in Stockholm.
