Patrick Thoresen new WC top scorer after another four points in a 6-2 win against Denmark.
Norway won the Scandinavian derby against Denmark 6-2 after scoring 5-0 in the second period. Just as like against Germany Norway showed a great scoring efficiency and Denmark's players lost their heads when Norway got three goals in the second period. A five + game roughing penalty on Jannik Hansen let Norway score two more goals.
Frederik Andersen had to give up six goals today.

For Norway Patrick Thoresen scores great form and with one goal and three assists he now has ten points in the last two games and are now tied top scorer of the tournament. Per-Åge Skrøder, Mats Trygg, Jonas Holøs, Lars Erik Spets and Morten Ask also scored for Norway.
"I think it was important for us to have a good game today. We’re going to take the positive energy from this game with us into the quarter-final", said Norway's Mathis Olimb.
The Danes who was a bit tired after the hard game against Latvia yesterday at least got two on the board when Morten Madsen and Morten Poulsen scored.
Norway will most likely play Russia in the quarter final while the tournament is over for Denmark.
Another sad day for Danish fans.
