Botany Swarm wins the 2010 New Zealand Championship after defeating the West Auckland Admirals 3-1 in the grand final.

The 2010 New Zealand Ice Hockey League final at Paradice Ice Arena was sold out. 1200 supporters witnessed the game where Botany Swarm beat West Auckland Admirals 3-1

Ian Wannamaker scored twice and was awarded the MVP prize. Corey Down, the national team captain, also scored for the winning side.
