Espoo Blues won Lukko Rauma 6-3 in the third and final wild card game on Tuesday in Espoo. With the win Blues will take the last place in quarterfinals where it meets regular season champion KalPa Kuopio.

Blues started scoring already 44 sec into the first period. However suddenly Lukko scored twice and added one more leading by 1-3. Blues never gave up and after second period Blues had already taken over leading 4-3 and secured the decisive win with two more goals in the third period.

Blues best players were Swedes Joakim Eriksson and Mika Hannula both scoring 1+2 and also very energic Tommi Huhtala (scored 5-3 goal).

For the last years bronze medal team Lukko the season was very disappointing. The team was built with big money, fired the coach in the middle of the season and they never found a real game system. There will be again big changes for the coming season.
