-World Championship Div. I Group A (in Budapest, Hungary)
-World U18 Championship Div. I Group A (in Riga, Latvia)
-World Women's Championship Div. I (in Ravensburg, Germany)

Because of HC Oceláři Třinec 6-1 win on its home ice yesterday, the semi final series against HC Slavia Prague has to continue with a sixth game and HC Vítkovice Steel has to wait one more game at least for its final rival on the way to the Czech league title. We will bring you more information about the yesterday's game later.

After playing a club record 330th consecutive game Los Angeles Kings leading scorer Anze Kopitar fractured his right ankle Saturday afternoon against Colorado and he will need corrective surgery on the injury,
Kings coach Terry Murray said Kopitar would need a minimum of six weeks to recover, but after a medical report Kopitar is now listed as being out indefinitely.
The surgery will be performed Wednesday.

A selection of best MHL players will face Poland on april 09 and 10 at Krynica, where Poland is preparing IHWC Division I in Kyiv

Dmitri Dudik scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the 4th game in the Belarus Championship finals when Neman Grodno beat Yunost Minsk 4-3.

Yunost leads the series 3-1.

Sweden's defenseman Magnus Johansson is injured and will miss the World Championship in Slovakia.

Johansson was named MVP in Elitserien this season.

The Ice Hockey Association of DPR Korea (North Korea) has informed the IIHF that it has decided to withdraw the DPR Korean entries from their respective IIHF World Championship tournaments in 2011, men's and women's, both on the Division II level. The member national association has informed the IIHF that both withdrawals are due to financial reasons.

In a dejà-vu of last season, Beybarys Atyrau again won semifinal series versus Ertis Pavlodar, closing 4-2 the series, and lands in Kazakhstan League finals. In last decisive game Beybarys won 3-2 Ertis. The opponent will be know on march 29, when Barys-2 and champion Sary Arka Karaganda will play decisive game 7 in Astana. After last Sary Arka 7-1 victory the series is now 3-3. Last season Beybarys and Sary Arka were finalists and Karaganda team won 3-2 a balanced series

Segeltorp won the Swedish Women Championship after beating Brynäs in the final, 2-1 after overtime.

Eternal champion Sokil Kyiv 2 will be the challenger of regular season winner Donbass Donetsk in Ukranian League final series.
While Donbass easily beat in two games (1-8 and 8-4) HC Kharkiv, Sokil needs three games to weaken Companion-Naftogaz resistence. After a loss at shoot-outs in first game, Sokil captured two victories, 4-0 to equalize series and 3-1 in decisive game. Sokil will play with roster alligned in Belraus Open League with star as Oleg Blagoj, Dmitri Tsyrul, and Vadim Shakhraichuk

Košice reached the cup in Slovak Extraliga U20 after the final series against Martin. The Košice juniors won all the three games of the series (3-2 OT, 2-1, 1-0) and started to celebrate the second league title in the juniors cathegory for Košice in the history of Slovakia.

Viru Sputnik beat Kalev-Valk 9:8 (2:2 3:4 3:2 0:0 1:0) in the first of the Estonian finals. Ivan Akimov got the game-winning goal in the shoot-out that followed after a 5-minute overtime period.

Top two teams after regular season of GET ligaen, Sparta Sarpsborg and Stavanger Oilers, have fought their way into the finals. Sparta overcame Lillehammer 4-1, while in the other semifinal series, Stavanger overturned a 1-2 deficit to beat a surprise package of the play-offs from Lørenskog 4-2.

Pelicans Lahti avoided relegation from Finnish SM-Liiga after beating Sport Vaasa in four straight games in the relegation/promotion series: 4-0, 4-3 (OT), 8-3 and today 2-0.
