The SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan Broncos survived a determined comeback attempt by Hockey Milano Rossoblu on the way to a 4-3 win.

SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan made the score 3-1 on a goal by Roman Erat at 19:17 in the second period, and Hockey Milano Rossoblu got as close as 3-2 when Devin DiDiomete scored 4:36 into the third period.

Hockey Milano Rossoblu's power play was ineffective against the Broncos' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

SSI Vipiteno Weihenstephan could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game. The Broncos got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
