Game recap

Cardiff Devils beat Manchester Storm for the second time inside 24 hours on Sunday night in front of 1,705 fans at the Storm Shelter.

Unlike the previous evening, period one ended without goals despite some 27 shots being fired on net in total.

As like the previous evening, however, it was the Devils who opened the scoring - Tyler Busch the man to put the Devils ahead on Sunday with 6:32 played in period two.

Loren Ulett levelled at 36:04 to ensure the sides would head into the second intermission all square before a quick flurry of goals swung things in the Devils' favour.

Brandon Alderson beat Evan Weninger shot side off a Josh Waller feed to put the visitors back ahead at 46:35, and just over two minutes later Cole Ully fired into Weninger's net to make it 3-1. Ben Davies made things safe with the Devils' 7:03 from the final buzzer.fourth
