Game recap

Glasgow Clan got back to winning ways with a tight 2-1 victory over Nottingham at the Motorpoint Arena on Sunday afternoon, capping a disappointing weekend for the Panthers.

The Panthers outshot their opponents 17-3 through the opening 20 minutes but were unable to find a goal, not taking advantage of a handful of Grade A scoring chances in the first period.

Clan grew into the game in period two and were rewarded with the game's first goal - a Craig Peacock shot was saved well by Alex Dubeau but the rebound landed straight on the stick of Dyosn Stevenson to put Clan ahead at 27:29.

Adam Brady beat John Muse high glove side with a quick shot in the slot to tie things up with 2:55 left in period two.

With the clock winding down and overtime looking the most likely outcome, Jordan Cownie snuck a shot through Dubeau short side to win it for Clan with 71 seconds remaining.
