The series between Hradec Králové (1st) and Mladá Boleslav (11th) has moved to home arena of the latter named team with equal score 1-1.

After a goalless first period M. Boleslav scored the first. In time 22:58, Kelemný's shot was tipped by defending Kalina to the own net. Two seconds after start of the second half, H. Králové used its powerplay to make it 1-1. Also in the third period both teams scored once.

No goal was to see in the overtime, so the game had to be decided in shootouts. After each team scoring one shootout in the first five series, the audience had to wait till the shootout no.14 for the next successful shot. A Hradec Králové forward Miloš Kelemen was the one to perform what would mean a game winning goal, and current 1-2 lead in this best-of-seven quarterfinals.
