Cardiff Devils bounced back from their 1-0 defeat 20 hours previously in Belfast by beaten the Giants by a single goal of their own for the second time this season.

Joey Haddad's powerplay goal was the difference in the game as he fired home from the slot. Ben Bowns pulled of some excellent saves as the clocked ticked down to keep the Devils ahead with Belfast throwing everything at the visitors' net.

This leaves Devils only five points behind leaders Sheffield with four games in hand.
