Rickard Palmberg put on a finishing show as he netted a hat-trick in Belfast's 5-1 win over Glasgow.
A 3-on-1 break led to the opening Giants' goal, and Palmberg patiently rounding Patrick Killeen before hitting the roof of the net at 16:47. The Swede's move at 28:22 was saved by Killeen but Elgin Pearce was on hand to tap home and make it 2-0 before Palmberg scored short side on the powerplay just over two minutes later. Hard work from Liam Reddox led to the Giants' fourth at 36:54 - the forward's wrist shot was tipped by Bobby Farnham and then Brian Ward to make it 4-0.
Palmberg completed his hat-trick 1:47 into the final period, while Glasgow grabbed a consolation at 54:50 when Mathieu Roy poked a rebound through Stephen Murphy's pads.
