Game recap

Two goals in a little over three minutes eventually provided to be enough to get Belfast two points in Dundee.

A tight opening period saw no goals and nor did the first half of period two - but things really got going in the next ten minutes. Brain Ward opened the scoring with a goal in slot at 31:49, but a nice counter-attack at 33:03 saw Drydn Dow fire home after Jordan Cownie's feed and tie the game. Curtis Hamilton put the Giants back ahead at 36:03 and then visitors were to lead by two at the break thanks to Jordan Smotherman's goal with 35 seconds to go.

The game was made safe through Patryk Wronka at 53:31, although Kevin Dufour did pull the Stars back to within two at 54:12. The Starts pulled Alex Leclerc late on but weren't able to force a further way back into the game.
