Game recap

Sheffield Steelers head home with four points form their Scottish double-header, thanks to a Sunday evening win in Dundee.

Despite taking the lead on 13 minutes, the Stars were pulled back 2:34 later when Marc-Olivier Vallerand converted on the breakaway. In truth the game was won and lost in period two. Brendan Connolly and Tanner Eberle both found the back of Alex Leclerc's net inside 10 minutes of the second, with James Bettauer and Rob Dowd taking the score to 5-1 by 34:42.

Anthony Beauregard got Dundee back in the game, but a Connolly goal 3:01 into period three effectively killed off any comeback hopes fo the Stars. Brett Stovin scored the night's final goal with 1:48 to go.
