Game recap

A great weekend for Omar Pacha's Dundee Stars was completed after they backed up a road win in Belfast with a home victory over Manchester.

Kevin Dufour kept his scoring run going as he got the game's first goal after only 62 seconds, and when Egils Kalns made it two at 11:39 it looked like it could be a long night for the Storm. They rallied however, and after keeping the Stars out for the best part of a period and a half got themselves back into the game through Scott Simmonds at 39:01.

Dufour gave the Stars the perfect start to period three with the goal for 3-1 at 44:27, and captain Matt Marquardt then make it 4-1 90 seconds later. The visitors however weren't out of it, and goals from Layne Ulmer and Dallas Ehrhardt brought the score back to 4-3 with 3:44 to play.

Anthony Beauregard made the points safe with an empty netter 12 seconds from time to give the Stars their second win of the weekend.
