Game recap

Glasgow Clan avenged their three-goal defeat in Cardiff six days ago with a four-goal victory of their own.

Sean Bentivoglio did put the Devils ahead at 12:36, but from then on it fast became a night to forget for Andrew Lord's side. Matt Beca equalised just over a minute later, before three goals in under three second period minutes put the Clan well in control. Craig Peacock, Mac Howlett and Mathieu Roy were all on target over a 2:57 spell to give the visitors a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes.

When Rasmus Bjerrum made it five the Clan were as good as assured of the points, but despite Sam Jardine pulling one back for the Devils with 12:10 to go, Coach Lord had to gamble and pull Ben Bowns for the extra skater with more than three minutes to go. That backfired as Matt Heywood found the empty net at 56:46 to cap an excellent road win for Zack Fitzgerald's team.
