Game recap

Belfast Giants made it two league wins in a row at home with a big victory over Fife.

Jean Dupuy got the opening goal of the night just under six minutes in, and the Giants then extended the lead through Jordan Smotherman with a little over ten minutes played. To their credit the Flyers did push back as the period drew on, and got a deserved way back into the game through Tim Crowder's goal with 2:45 left in the period.

The second however was all about the Giants - Bobby Farnham putting them back two ahead with 27:11 played, before Curtis Hamilton then made it four at 33:44. Great work from Patryk Wronka set up Brian Ward for 5-1 at 36:01 leaving the Giants in total control after 40 minutes.

Liam Morgan and Jordan Smotherman added more goals for the Giants in the final period, with Danick Gauthier adding a late consolation for the visitors.
