Game recap

Two goals inside the final two minutes helped Guildford to a shutout win in Nottingham.

In an entertaining but low-scoring game, neither side was able to find a breakthrough through 40 minutes, despite sharing some 40 shots over the opening two periods.

The game was to be decided almost at the death of period three, as Guildford took the lead with 72 seconds left to play through Jamie Crooks. he then assisted on TJ Foster’s empty net goal 61 seconds later to give the Flames a two-goal, shutout win over the Panthers and move them up to fourth in the table.
