Game recap

Fife moved themselves out to three points about Dundee with a home win over the Stars.

The home side led by two after the opening period thanks to a brace from Evan Bloodoff – the first at just after the 10-minute mark on the powerplay, the second 34 seconds from the end of the period.

Fife then went three ahead as Carlo Finucci netted shorthanded at 23:52. Player-Coach Omar Pacha got the Stars on the board at 27:46 to begin a Stars’ fightback. Lukas Lundvald struck 64 seconds into the final period to bring them back to within one, before Fabrizio Ricci tied the game at 44:51. However the Flyers were to strike back and re-take the lead at 52:45 through Rick Pinkston with what proved to be the game winner to keep the points in Kirkcaldy
