Game recap

Hosts Glasgow Clan enjoyed their special rock-themed evening with a three-goal win over Nottingham, who suffered defeat for the second night in a row in their Scottish triple-header weekend.

Things stared well for Rick Strachan’s team, Jon Rheault giving the Panthers the lead with 14:20 gone. They held the lead into the middle session before Scott Pitt and Guillaume Doucet scored just over ten eleven minutes apart to turn the game on its head.

After a long delay due to some problems with the ice, the third started in the best possible way for the hosts as Doucet added another to make it 3-1. Brendan Connolly capped off the win with a goal 2:34 from time to keep the Clan in fifth and ensure they keep up the chase on the sides above them.
