Game recap

The next instalment in the Panthers’ live YouTube streams saw the Nottingham side again defeated by rivals Sheffield.

The sides were level after 20 minutes at the Motorpoint Arena – Evan McGrath gave the Steelers the lead after 5:21, before Mark Hurtubise tied the game up just over three minutes later.

Jordan Owns put the visitors back ahead 7:29 into the middle period as Guillaume Lepine sat for Holding, and then scored their third 53 seconds later to put the Steelers two up. With 5:27 left to play in the final period, Tom Zanoski secured the points for Sheffield with his goal, and despite Chris Stewart pulling the Panthers back to within two with 57:36 on the clock, Ryan Martinelli found the empty net with 68 seconds remaining to cap a 5-2 win for the Steelers.
