The Panthers made it three wins in a row with a narrow win over basement side Milton Keynes.

It was a perfect start for the hosts, who took the lead in under two minutes – Mark Hurtubise the scorer after only 1:46. However the vast majority of the 6,556 spectators inside the Motorpoint Arena would not have expected what followed early in the middle period – 26:44 on the clock when Player-Coach Tim Wallace equalised for the Lightning.

Before the period was over however the Panthers went back into the lead through Alex Guptill, and that was all the scoring there was to be in the game. The Panthers held on for the win, while MK continue their disappointing run.
